Meet Dr. Poksay
Dr. Poksay has been changing lives and perfecting smiles for his patients since 1983. A true dental care pioneer, Dr. Poksay brought sleep dentistry to Novato in 1997 and is sought after for his expertise in sedation and cosmetic dentistry by his colleagues. Dr. Poksay is a versatile dentist and specializes in Oral Surgery. Tom has a restorative oriented insurance-independent practice in the heart of Marin County where he loves to practice.

Dr. Poksay (who was raised in Novato) received his Dental Medicine Doctorate (DMD) from the Washington University School of Dental Medicine in St. Louis, and completed his advanced training Residency at Thomas Jefferson University Medical Center in Philadelphia.
He is an active member, and past president of the Marin County Dental Society (a component of the American and California Dental Associations), he is also a Fellow Of the Academy of General Cosmetic Dentistry and the American Association of Hospital Dentists.
Dr. Poksay is also on staff at Petaluma Valley Hospital for the care of individuals needing hospital-based services.

Dr. Poksay is a Distinguished Mentor at the Kois Center in Seattle, Washington – a unique program teaching advanced cosmetic and reconstructive dental techniques.
The Kois Center has recognized Dr. Poksay as a Distinguished Mentor – a loyal advisor entrusted with the care and education of others. This mentoring program has enabled many dentists, laboratory technicians, and dental assistants to achieve extraordinary levels.
