We’re thrilled to welcome Dr. Ramteen Rafii to our Novato dental family! Born and raised in Marin County, Dr. Rafii brings not only exceptional clinical skill but a heartfelt commitment to giving back to the community that shaped him. With a warm, compassionate approach and expertise in everything from cosmetic dentistry to implants and Invisalign, he’s here to help you achieve your healthiest, happiest smile. Ashley M.
Office Manager
Ashley McGuire is the Office Manager at Rafii Dental Care, where she began working in November 2025. A California native, she moved to Marin County at 16 and has remained closely connected to the community. In her role, she focuses on creating a welcoming environment and ensuring patients have a smooth, positive experience.
Inspired by her mother, a dental hygienist, Ashley developed a passion for patient care early on. She enjoys helping patients through every stage of their dental journey and values building strong, trusting relationships through personalized care.
Ashley knew she was in the right profession after her children were born, when she found a career that offered both stability and fulfillment. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her two children, staying active, and bringing positivity into her daily life.

Financial Coordinator
My name is Wendy and I bring 23 years of experience in the dental field, where I’ve developed a strong commitment to patient care and a passion for working with people. I take pride in creating positive experiences and building lasting relationships in a professional setting. Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, especially camping with my husband, our three sons, our dog, and our newest addition, my daughter-in-law.
Cheryl
Registered Dental Hygienist
A Marin County native, Cheryl received her degree in Dental Hygiene from Loyola University in New Orleans, Louisiana. Cheryl has continued to share her vast knowledge of dentistry with her patients since 1993! She is committed to her patients’ care and comfort and she is Laser Certified. Cheryl appreciates seeing the oral health improvements achieved by her patients.
Jaynie
Registered Dental Hygienist
Jaynie graduated from Indiana University Bloomington with a BA in 1997, and Indiana University South Bend Dental Hygiene School in 1999. Prior to joining the practice in in 2010, she lived and practiced dental hygiene for ten years in San Francisco before relocating to Novato to raise her family.
In an effort to provide the highest level of care for all of our patients, Jaynie is soft tissue laser certified and regularly takes advanced education courses to keep up on the latest dental techniques and therapies. Her unique and diverse background, thoroughness, and enthusiasm are what make her a special part of our team!
Cristian
Registered Dental Hygienist
Cristian grew up in Marin, where he’s spent his entire life. He attended San Rafael High School before continuing his education at the College of Marin to complete his prerequisite courses. Afterward, he graduated from the Santa Rosa Junior College Dental Hygiene Program in 2024. In his free time, Cristian enjoys traveling and playing soccer with friends.
Nereida
Registered Dental Assistant
Nereida Hernandez is a dedicated Registered Dental Assistant with over 22 years of experience, known for her genuine compassion and ability to make patients feel at ease in the dental chair.
Nereida graduated in 2004 from the Dental Assisting program at the College of Marin in Kentfield, California. Her passion for the field began even before her formal training, when she worked in a dental clinic and discovered how rewarding it was to support patients through procedures they often dread. That early experience confirmed her calling: creating a calm, caring environment where people feel truly seen and supported.
Throughout her career, Nereida’s greatest fulfillment has come from directly helping patients—whether it’s explaining procedures, offering reassurance, or simply being a comforting presence during their visits. Her warm, patient-centered approach has earned her lasting trust and appreciation from those she serves.
Based in Petaluma, Nereida shares her life with her husband and their 8-year-old son. When she’s not caring for patients, she enjoys staying active through hiking and playing tennis, as well as unwinding with a good movie. These pursuits help her bring balance, energy, and positivity to both her professional and personal life.
With more than two decades of hands-on expertise and a deep commitment to patient comfort, Nereida continues to make a meaningful difference in her community one smile at a time.

Dental Assistant
Jacqueline Muro has worked in dentistry for 13 years and is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable, supported, and cared for. She especially enjoys building meaningful connections with patients and helping those who experience dental anxiety or have experienced past dental trauma.
Outside of work, Jacqueline is a proud mom of five. She enjoys hiking, snowboarding, spending time with family and friends, and cooking for others. Jacqueline is grateful to be part of the Rafii Dental Care team and looks forward to helping every patient feel welcome and at ease.
