Hometown Roots
Ramteen Rafii, DDS is a general and cosmetic dentist and proud native of Marin County. He grew up in Strawberry, attending St. Hilary School in Tiburon and later graduating from Redwood High School. His passion for dentistry began in high school, sparked by a natural talent for working with his hands, a love of science and technology, and a deep desire to help others. From the start, his goal has always been to open a practice in his hometown and serve the community that shaped him.
Leadership & Service
At Dugoni, Dr. Rafii remained deeply committed to shaping lives in the dental chair and beyond. He led a medical mission trip to underserved communities in Jamaica, served as a peer tutor, and donated countless hours to mentoring fellow students as a Group Practice Leader—an opportunity awarded to students recognized for their clinical excellence and leadership abilities.
Clinical Expertise
Dr. Rafii is experienced in all aspects of general dentistry and offers comprehensive care across a variety of specialties, including oral surgery, implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign, root canal therapy, and more. He has been committed to staying at the forefront of his field and regularly attends continuing education courses across the country to refine and expand his clinical skills.
Life Outside the Practice
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Rafii enjoys cooking new recipes, skiing, hiking, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends. He is honored to serve the community he calls home and looks forward to meeting you in person!
Education & Honors
Dr. Rafii earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology, along with a minor in Business and Economics, from Chapman University. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. He graduated with high honors and was inducted into the Tau Kappa Omega Honor Society, an academic distinction awarded to the top 15% of his class.
